Elizabeth Mirabal nació en Cuba en 1986. Obtuvo la licenciatura en Periodismo por la Universidad de La Habana en 2009. Alcanzó el Premio Iberoamericano Verbum con la novela La isla de las mujeres tristes (2014). Actualmente vive en Estados Unidos con su esposo.

Elizabeth Mirabal was born in Cuba in 1986. She obtained a degree in Journalism from the University of Havana in 2009. In 2014 she was the recipient of the Ibero-American Verbum Award for the novel 'La Isla de las mujeres tristes.' She currently resides in United States with her husband.
